Magazine Q & A
Congratulations on being a featured family for the Bixby Neighbors or Living in the Heights Magazine! Looking forward to meeting you. Please review the information below and if you have any questions about your session, please feel free to reach out to Cielo Roth 562-857-6795.
Wardrobe
FUN, EASY, COMFORTABLE
Casual and comfortable dress and footwear (or barefooted). Avoid matching, all black/white. Aim for a cohesive color palette. Neutral solid colors or small patterns work well. Bright colors are fun as well. Avoid logos, wording and characters.
Location
Where is the sesssion?
The focus of the magazine is to feature your neighborhood. Your home, a park or neighborhood landmark is the best setting for your session.
Time
How Long will the session take?
Allow between 45 to 90 minutes for your session. Please avoid scheduling appointments or events too close before or after your session to allow for a relaxing experience. Please make arrangements to minimize distractions.
Family
Who will be photographed?
Each member of your family will be photographed to tell your story. Think of typical things you do as a family - board games, reading, cooking, watching tv. Younger family members will usually lead the way.
Pets
CAN PETS BE PART OF THE SESSION?
Of course! Pets are a big part of your family so include them in your session if you'd like. Allow your pets to roam as they usually do but you may consider a quiet place for them if they are shy or having a hard time. No need to force them to take part.
Fine Art Prints or Digital Files
Will we be able to purchase?
Your session fee has been paid by the magazine. You will receive several complementary copies of your issue. If you would like to purchase prints or files, please make a viewing session appointment with me. Ala carte pricing and packages available.
