Personality Over Perfection
Why should chose Cielo Roth Photography? I am far from perfect but I truly am in love with photography and connecting with you and your little ones (and teens and adult kids). I make sessions fun and easy. You will experience the joy I have for what I do and how special it is to me.
Over 30 Years of Experience
I earned my degree at UC Santa Barbara. I was an Art major with a minor in Art History. I focused on Photography after I took my first class. Digital wasn't a thing. I shot and developed my film. I printed in a darkroom. Pure love and magic.
After graduation, I found the closest art related job in Los Angeles. I missed the darkroom and I missed shooting. I decided I needed to take classes at Long Beach City College so I'd have access again to a dark room again. I made a lot of friends who are still friends today. I photographed some friends and their kids. And then I had my own kids and that was it. I photographed them endlessly and then when they got older, all of their classmates and families.
I entered the digital age a little late and it's wonderful. It's fast and fun and won't stain your clothes with chemicals!
